Hungarian club marks 25 years of service

Mayor Perk yesterday told a capacity audience at the golden anniversary banquet of the Hungarian Business and Tradesmen's Club "to remain united in carrying out the educational and social activities for which your club was founded."
The mayor was principal speaker at the jubilee in the clubrooms at 11432 Buckeye Rd. which have been expanded and improved three time since the building was purchased in 1936.
President Stephen Gobozy predicted that "with continued increasing of our membership of younger men and women, we will continue to serve our community."
He praised the Ladies'Auxiliary, now headed by Mrs. Florence Paczko, for its outstanding job of helping the men's branch throughout the years in its many charitable ventures.
Honors ere paid to five living charter members, Mrs. Isabella Laszlo, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Janik, Frank Molnar and John Markus and to 30 life members who have belonged to the club 25 years and more.
Introduction of representatives of United Hungarian Societies was made by Alex Menyhart, president, and a review of the club's activities was given by Charter Member Janik. Frank Csore was banquet chairman.
