What can we do for your project?

We can help you polish your presentation, thesis, or other publication by providing images from our collections. Our staff will take photographs, clippings, and other media through a scanning process, print photo reproductions on glossy paper, or burn your selections to a CD.

We share our collections

We provide digital and photographic reproductions of images from collections housed in Special Collections, at Cleveland State University Library. Our collected holdings include the Cleveland Press newspaper photo archive, spanning decades of local history and events.

We create your custom reproductions on site

Patrons may come in and photograph prints in our collection at no charge, or may order reproductions of these prints from us, consistent with our copyright restrictions.

We offer the same, high quality reproduction services for your personally owned materials, as well. Please note, however, some of your personal material may have copyright restrictions (such as wedding proofs or other professional photography), or are illegal for us to reproduce (such as passports, licenses, and other documents).

We support your research

We have provisions for performing free reference or paid research services, to help identify which images you'd prefer for your project.

Ready to order?

Complete orders must include

a check for the total amount, made payable to Cleveland State University

contact information. Use our online request form, or our printer friendly form for snail mail

a signed copyright acknowledgement

the identity of the images being ordered (for example, photocopies of images from our web sites and/or their identification numbers)

Specify whether you'd like file copies in JPG format and emailed to you, or the JPG or TIFF file burned to a CD and mailed, or photo reproduction (printed on heavy, glossy paper), or any combination of these.
